The largest literary event in Nevada is an annual celebration of the written, spoken and illustrated word. It is free and open to all ages.

8 a.m.

Learn about city departments, programs and services in a topic-driven, classroom style program.
Safekey Office, 416 N. Seventh St.
7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Safekey is available to students in grades K-5; Ignite is available at select middle schools for students in grades 6-8.

5:30 p.m - 7:30 p.m.

Bring the family to enjoy fun, games, music and public safety demonstrations.

9 a.m.

Kick-off the largest amateur athletic competition in the state with food, games, activities and more!
Durango Hills Community Center/YMCA Pool, 3521 N. Durango Drive.
5 p.m - 8 p.m.

Enjoy free swimming, raffles, activities, community vendors and free school supplies.

7 p.m.

The annual musical celebration pays tribute to the roots, origins and established figures of gypsy jazz.

6:30 p.m. Movie begins at dusk.
