View bid opportunities & results or register for online bidding on NGEM or Demandstar. The Nevada Government eMarketplace (NGEM) is a cooperative effort among local government entities in Nevada which allows contractors and suppliers to register in one central location to receive requests for bids or proposals from all participating entities, free of charge.

Demandstar currently provides access to bid documents for certain city construction projects. If you’re interested in information on public works projects, free Demandstar registration options are available.

The Supplier Diversity Program provides technical assistance to local emerging small businesses and minority-owned, women-owned and disabled veteran-owned business enterprises (MWDVBEs) to give those organizations greater access to contracting and procurement opportunities with the city. This is accomplished by:

  • Meeting one-on-one with local emerging small businesses (ESB) and MWDVBEs to help identify bidding opportunities.
  • Facilitating meetings with local ESBs and MWDVBEs and other city staff.
  • Advising ESBs and MWDVBEs of the availability of other community resources.

An ESB is defined as an organization that is certified by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and currently active. Active status can be found on the diversifynevada.com website.

An MWDVBE is defined as an organization that is at least 51 percent owned by one or more minorities/women/disabled veterans who also control (exercise power to make policy decisions) and operate (actively involved in day-to-day management) the business.

The city of Las Vegas’ Supplier Diversity Program allows for self-certification during the registration process and does not require formal certification.

View the list of diverse suppliers, service providers, contractors and consultants who have registered with the Nevada Gov eMarketplace (NGEM).

Business enterprises wishing to get formal certification as an MWDVBE can visit:
