What does “Balance Forward” mean on my account?
Balance Forward can be found on the Recent Payment History tab on the home page of your account.When the previous balance has not been paid it will be moved and added to the new quarter invoice.Balance Forward is not a successful payment to the account.Should you see this on your account please check your personal payment history to verify no payments have been missed.
How do I set up AutoPay?
AutoPay set up is available on our website at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/sewer. Registration of account is required in order to access the AutoPay feature.  Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, Discover and checking or savings accounts.  For step- by- step instructions to set up AutoPay please click here
How do I Start/Stop Sewer Service?
Sewer service is never stopped, it only changes ownership.If you have recently bought or sold a home, it will take approximately 30 days after the closing date for our system to be updated by the Clark County Assessors’ office and service to be set up automatically.
How can I obtain a Lien Release?

A lien releases when all monies owing on the lien have been satisfied.Once the lien has been released it is sent to the Clark County Recorders’ Office within 1 to 2 weeks of the payment posting to the sewer account.For a copy of the lien release please contact the Clark County Recorders’ Office at 702-455-4336 or in person at

How can I change my mailing address?

Residential legal owners or property managers listed on the account can change the mailing address by calling 702-229-1289.Commercial legal owners or property manager are required to submit a written request for updates to the mailing address on the commercial property.Requests can be submitted by mail to

City of Las Vegas Sewer 495 S Main St Las Vegas NV89101 or by email at sewerservices@lasvegasnevada.gov .

All accounts will stay in the name of the legal owner.
